If you enjoy opening boxes of wonderful "treasures" that have been donated, this is the place for you. You will be sorting clothes, housewares, etc. You can stand or site as a sorter. The sorter works in the "middle of our store" and does not interact with customer. 

The tagger performs a very important part of the sort function. You will be trained to use a clothes tagger gun and will also give the clothes a final inspection before they go out on the sales floor. 

Hours are scheduled at the discretion of the Paws and Shop Manager.
*Applicants under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian signature.

Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement

Our volunteers may have access to confidential and proprietary information belonging to Paws Along the River, all staff and animals involved. Business involving our practices, procedures, policies, and in-house situations resulting from our daily operations of both locations, shelter and store, cruelty cases, and Board of Directors are to be kept confidential.

It is of the utmost importance that the confidentiality of such information be completely respected. Our volunteers are expected to respect these concerns and are absolutely prohibited from disclosing or discussing such information outside of the shelter for any reason.

Any concerns or issues must be brought to the attention of the Director and/or Board President.

Failure to comply with the above confidentiality of Paws Along the River will result in disciplinary action and any legal action up to and including termination of volunteer duties.
All volunteers must agree and understand this confidentiality agreement at the start of their volunteer work at Paws.
